“Everything Is Yours” - Flight of the Ghouls

“Everything Is Yours” is a concept album by post-punk band Flight of the Ghouls. It is a concept album that tells the story of how a man overcomes obstacles in his life with the help of a guardian angel that he meets on a fateful night. The album deals with religious concepts, the world, morals, mental health, and forgiveness. The front cover features a depiction of the guardian angel from the album’s storyline, with the back cover featuring her hands reaching up into the sky, revealing the tracklist of the album. The cover has a simplistic look to portray the idea of purity that the main character seeks throughout the album.

The typeface used is “Mrs. Eaves” which is a Transitional serif typeface designed by Zuzana Licko and published in 1996 through Emigre. The typeface’s design was inspired by Baskerville and named after John Baskerville’s wife, Sarah Eaves. She became John Baskerville's wife as he was setting up his printing and type business. Baskerville hired Eaves as his live-in housekeeper. Sarah Eaves was married and had five children. Her husband eventually left her and their five children, which led to Mrs. Eaves becoming John Baskerville's mistress and eventual helpmate with typesetting and printing. She married Baskerville within a month of Eaves’ husband's death.
